Job summary

Mount Carmel seeks a Quality Improvement Specialist to design, direct and facilitate quality and patient safety initiatives across facilities. This role drives performance improvement, serves as QI liaison with CMS, ODH, and TJC, and supports leadership development through the Leadership Academy.

Travel to multiple facilities is required (~60% weekly). The role requires RN licensure, a BSN, 5+ years hospital experience, and knowledge of quality management methodologies.

Qualifications

• Education: Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing required.
• Masters in Nursing preferred.
• Licensure: Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Design, direct and facilitate quality and patient safety initiatives.
• Serve as a QI liaison with external agencies (CMS, ODH, TJC).
• Lead performance improvement projects and educational programs.
• Coordinate across multi-site facilities and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Promote people-centered care and leadership development through the Academy.
