Qualifications

• Master’s degree is preferred.
• CPHQ certification should be obtained within 3 years of employment.
• Licensure or certification in a healthcare-related field may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate quality improvement initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
• Assess gaps between current practices and best-practice standards; recommend changes.
• Routinely evaluate indicators and report outcomes to stakeholders.
• Collect, aggregate, and analyze data to support quality programs.
• Perform chart audits and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Analyze performance metrics and present results to committees.
• Stay current with regulatory and accreditation standards; support surveys.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams and apply quality tools to drive change.
• Coordinate governance activities and collaborate with departments on improvement projects.
