Job summary

Seacoast Mental Health Center, Inc. in Portsmouth, NH is seeking a QI Specialist to lead compliance, documentation, and policy management for our CC BCHC program. The role emphasizes readiness for external audits and continuous quality improvement within an in-office setting.

Candidate must have a BS/BA in Human Services or related field, with at least 2 years in a mental health or healthcare environment. This is an in-office, full-time position supporting SMHC’s quality initiatives and programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master-level training in human services or related field.
• Experience in a community mental health or healthcare setting preferred.
• Familiarity with behavioral health policies and CC BCHC standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain SMHC Clinical Services Policy and Procedures to meet CCBHC standards.
• Ensure readiness for external audits, site reviews, and regulatory oversight.
• Identify risks and gaps; develop corrective action plans for compliance and performance.
• Participate in monthly Quality Improvement Committee meetings and related work.
• Support VP-QC, Medical Records, and staff across committees (Compliance, Pharmacy, EHR).
• Assist in developing and implementing long-term sustainability of CC BCHC initiatives.
• Carry out tasks to support QI Department activities and operations.
