Job summary

WK Medical Center in Shreveport, LA is seeking a full-time RN to support quality, performance improvement and regulatory activities related to chart abstraction and eCQMs.

You will perform chart review and abstraction, educate staff and physicians, and communicate to achieve and maintain compliance with core measures and eCQM sets. The role requires coordinated work with a multidisciplinary team, strong data skills, and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• RN licensure with hospital quality improvement exposure preferred.
• Strong knowledge of quality measures and regulatory standards.
• Ability to lead and facilitate multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

This position exists to support the management of quality, performance improvement, and regulatory activities at Willis Knighton Health as they relate to chart abstracted and electronic Clinical Quality Measures (eCQMs).

In this role, the responsibilities include chart review, chart abstraction, staff and physician education, and communication to achieve and maintain compliance with the core measure and eCQM sets. Other duties for this role are identification of core measures and eCQM patient populations, coordinating and tracking the services patients receive, providing communication to caregivers and implementing process improvements to achieve compliance.

Qualifications

• Registered nursing licensure or higher preferred
• Maintains professional licensure or certification as applicable
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate in both written and verbal forms.
• Work with individuals using a multidisciplinary approach
• Works cooperatively with other staff and departments to achieve continued compliance.
