Job summary

Devereux Pocono is seeking a Quality Improvement Specialist to drive continuous improvement and ensure high‑quality care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, and/or mental health diagnoses. You will collaborate with the Quality team and leadership to analyze data and support outcome measurement.

This role offers a $2,000 sign‑on bonus, flexible schedules, ASCEND tuition assistance, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
  • One year of experience supporting individuals with ID/DD or related mental health.
  • One year of healthcare quality management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyze treatment data, behavioral trends, and incident reports.
  • Identify patterns and share insights with the Quality Management Director.
  • Support audit readiness and regulatory compliance, including fire drills and inspections.
  • Support continuous quality improvement initiatives using data tools such as Power BI.
  • Complete Certified Investigator training requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze treatment data, behavioral trends, and incident reports
  • Identify patterns (e.g., recurring behaviors, compliance gaps) and share insights with the Quality Management Director
  • Conduct pre‑inspection site visits and support audit readiness, regulatory compliance, and safety activities (including fire drills and required inspections)
  • Support continuous quality improvement initiatives using data tools such as Power BI and QCG dashboards
  • Complete Certified Investigator training requirements
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
  • A high school diploma with additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Experience
  • At least 1 year of experience supporting individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities, autism, and/or mental health diagnoses
  • At least 1 year of experience in healthcare quality management, including direct care experience
Skills
  • Strong understanding of healthcare systems, quality improvement principles, and regulatory standards
  • Excellent communication, project management, and facilitation skills
  • Strong data collection and analysis abilities using computer applications
  • Ability to adapt quickly, manage multiple priorities, and make sound independent decisions
