Job summary

Devereux is seeking a Certified Investigator to conduct incident investigations, including witness interviews, evidence gathering, documentation, and reporting findings. The role requires active investigator certification and experience with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, or mental health diagnoses.

The position offers a flexible, as-needed schedule with support from an experienced team and internal Quality Improvement resources.

Qualifications

  • One or more years experience working with individuals with intellectual and development disabilities, autism, and or mental health diagnoses is preferred but not required.

As a Certified Investigator, you will use your certified investigator training through Office Development Program to conduct incident investigations. These investigations will include witness interviews, evidence gathering, documentation, and reporting findings.

Hourly Rate: $30/hr

Devereux Pocono provides programs and services for adults with developmental disabilities. Located in Newfoundland, PA, this position is responsible for assisting individuals with activities of daily living and promoting growth in the areas of functional skills, personal needs, communication, and personal adjustment.

Education

High School diploma or GED are minimum

Must be 21 years of age and have a requirements for this role.

Experience

Active Certified Investigator Certificate from Office Development Program required.

One or more years experience working with individuals with intellectual and development disabilities, autism, and or mental health diagnoses is preferred but not required.

Must demonstrate core competencies.
