Job summary

HSHS Medical Group is seeking a Quality Improvement Nurse to advance high‑quality, safe patient care across our Central Illinois system. You will analyze outcomes, identify improvement opportunities, and guide sustainable solutions with nursing, interdisciplinary teams, and leaders.

The role requires an RN license in the state, a BSN by 2026, and 3 years of clinical nursing experience, plus 2–3 years in quality improvement. Travel across facilities is required.

Qualifications

• RN license in the applicable state.
• BSN required after Jan 4, 2026; prior BSN acceptable.
• 3 years of clinical nursing experience.
• 2–3 years in quality improvement, patient safety, or analytics.
• CPHQ certification or within 2 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Analyze clinical outcomes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Coach and educate teams on quality methods and high-reliability concepts.
• Partner with nursing and leadership to implement sustainable improvements.
• Support regulatory readiness and accreditation activities.
