Cook Children’s is seeking a Quality Improvement Coordinator to enhance patient safety and outcomes. The role focuses on leading quality projects, developing regular data reports, and supporting staff education across the hospital.

100% onsite at Rosedale Office Building in Fort Worth, TX, with a strong emphasis on collaboration with IT and multidisciplinary teams to advance safety programs and improvement science.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or PharmD licensure required.
• Minimum of three years clinical nursing or pharmacy experience.
• Three years quality improvement, education, or process improvement experience.
• Quality or Patient Safety Certification within 3 years of hire.
• Master's degree in business or health-related field preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop regular statistical reports and data management for quality projects.
• Facilitate quality teams, chair groups and subgroups hospital-wide.
• Support education of staff and act as subject matter expert in safety and improvement science.
• Collaborate with Information Technology to support EMR development and quality reporting.
