Job summary

Kids Central is seeking a Quality Management Specialist - Child Welfare in Wildwood, FL. The role focuses on applying Florida child welfare knowledge, critical thinking, and leadership to develop and manage quality improvement activities in collaboration with DCF and partners.

The position requires a bachelor's degree and 1+ year of Florida child welfare or related experience; bilingual (Spanish) candidates are encouraged. Travel and trainings are expected as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum bachelor's degree required; preferred in social/human services or related field.
  • At least 1 year in Florida child welfare/case management or related work.
  • Applicants with supervisory experience and bilingual Spanish are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Perform case record reviews and communicate results to management and partners.
  • Review high-profile cases and write comprehensive reports; address safety concerns.
  • Lead quality improvement projects and develop training materials.
  • Collaborate across departments to guide and coach staff; conduct trainings.
  • Engage with DCF/OQI and participate in COA activities as needed.
