Job summary

WVUH West Virginia University Hospitals is seeking a Coordinator for National Quality Programs to drive data-driven improvements in Oncology and Trauma services. You will analyze data from multiple sources, present actionable insights to physicians and staff, and support national benchmarks and performance initiatives.

The role requires a Bachelor's in business or healthcare with relevant experience, or an Associate with more healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or healthcare with 2+ years in healthcare/business, or an associate with 3+ years in healthcare.
• Master’s degree in business or healthcare is preferred.
• Experience at an Academic Medical Center or hospital with 150+ beds.
• Experience with process and performance improvement activities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data and present solutions with physicians and staff to inform continuous improvement.
• Submit data, monitor performance, and use predictive analysis for benchmarking (e.g., Vizient, US News rankings).
• Establish effective working relationships with hospital teams and leadership.
• Serve on WVUH Hospital or Children’s Hospital committees and provide data needs and improvement science expertise.
• Act as local Project Manager of Solutions for Patient Safety and facilitate improvement teams.
