Job summary

Harris Health System is seeking a Quality Management Coordinator (QMC) to coordinate, implement and evaluate the system's quality program. You will collaborate with the Director of Quality to shape performance improvement plans and monitor outcomes across care delivery and staff utilization within a comprehensive quality framework.

The role requires current Texas RN license and a BSN; a master's is preferred.

Qualifications

Current, valid Texas RN License.
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with a bachelor`s degree in nursing. Masters degree in nursing or related field is preferred.
Basic Life Support from a hospital-based American Heart Association (AHA) approved program.
Cert Prof in Hlth Care Quality: Required within 2 years of hire.
Three years of work experience in related clinical area of practice.
One year related management/leadership experience is required.

Responsibilities

Coordinate, implement and evaluate Harris Health System assigned quality program.
Work with the Director of Quality to develop the performance improvement plan for the system.
Facilitate implementation of Health Care Criteria for Performance Excellence and provide reports relevant to goal achievement.
Coordinate the Harris Health System Quality Program and ensure outcomes on assigned programs.
Ensure area care delivery, quality management, and staff utilization align with the Quality framework.
Create and maintain an environment that cultivates exemplary quality programs.
