Job summary

The University Medical Center, Inc. is seeking a Quality Improvement (QI) Coordinator to support system-wide improvement initiatives within the facility and ensure timely quality activities for a designated clinical service line.

The role supports the Director/Manager of Quality and Patient Safety and leads EBPs and data-driven improvement efforts. You will collect and analyze large datasets, design and implement performance improvements, and assist in regulatory and accreditation readiness to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health sciences or biological sciences is required.
• Minimum of three years of healthcare experience is required.
• Experience with quality improvement principles and data management is preferred.
• Master’s degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead facility-based Evidence Based Practice (EBP) Clinical Effectiveness teams using standards and best practices to improve patient outcomes.
• Utilize quality data to identify, design, plan and implement performance improvement initiatives in quality, safety and service measures.
• Assist in accreditation readiness and regulatory preparation, including disease-specific certification support.
• Collect, assemble and maintain information needed by QA departments and support research, regulatory, and accreditation activities.
