Job summary

Lakeside Behavioral Health System provides psychiatric care in Memphis, TN. The Quality and Performance Improvement team coordinates data collection, reporting, and analysis to meet regulatory standards. This role supports the Quality Committee, conducts investigations, and ensures timely incident reporting.

The position emphasizes chart audits, documentation, and acting as a liaison during absences of the Director of Regulatory Compliance, within a team-focused, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Educational requirements include a Bachelor's degree in a health-care related field; a Master’s in Social Work or RN, LPN, LPC, LCSW or LMSW license is preferred.
• Experience in basic accounting principles, computer programming, spreadsheets, and healthcare processes.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance guidelines (State, TJC, insurers, licensing bodies) and understanding of Quality and Performance Improvement programs.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor's Degree in health care related field required, Master Degree in Social Work or RN, LPN, LPC, LCSW or LMSW license preferred.

Experience: basic accounting principles, computer programming, spreadsheets, specific healthcare processes, etc.

Knowledge: Knowledge of regulatory and compliance guidelines, especially State, TJC, insurance providers, and other licensing and regulatory agencies. Understanding of Quality and Performance Improvement standards and programs. Solid clinical knowledge required for reading and analyzing medical records. Understanding of Quality and Performance Improvement standards and programs. Ability to maintain a professional demeanor during audits, meetings, and while hosting outside agencies. Ability to maintain confidential information regarding patients, investigations, and other sensitive topics. Proviciency in various computer programs including microsoft Office, EMRs and other databases.
