Job summary

Maker's Pride is seeking a Quality Hold Coordinator to administer the facility's hold program, ensuring non-conforming items are properly identified, documented, and dispositioned in line with GMPs, HACCP, and SQF requirements.

The role interfaces with Quality, Operations, Warehouse, Production, and Supply Chain to minimize risk and keep inventory accurate, releasing only safe products to customers.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Food Science, QA, Biology, Microbiology, Supply Chain or related field preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in food manufacturing, quality assurance, warehouse inventory control, or food safety preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the facility's product hold program.
• Identify, document, and place products on hold when concerns arise.
• Ensure holds are labeled, segregated, and secured.
• Monitor held inventory daily and verify accuracy.
• Collaborate with Quality, Operations, Warehouse and Supply Chain teams to determine root causes and corrective actions.
• Coordinate disposition activities including release, rework, relabeling, donation, destruction, or return to supplier.
