Job summary

Maker's Pride is seeking a Quality Technician to ensure food safety within the Quality Monitoring Scheme. The role emphasizes timely quality checks on multiple production lines, adherence to HACCP and GMP programs, and strict compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.

The candidate must have a High School Diploma or GED, with 3 months QA experience preferred, and strong attention to detail. MS Office skills and good communication are essential; bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have good attention to detail and be able to spot defects on fast-moving production lines.
• Must be able to perform simple mathematic calculation, including fractions, ratios and percentages.
• Good verbal and written communication skills; Spanish is a plus.
• MS Office proficiency is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform Quality checks on production lines in a timely and accurate fashion every hour per line.
• Raise discrepancies with the QMS to Supervisor or Quality Manager (HACCP, Allergen, Sanitation, GMP findings, etc.).
• Ensure product meets legal and customer requirements as outlined in the Bluebook.
• Complete daily paperwork accurately and on time.
• Maintain 5-S and keep work areas clean.
