Job summary

Stellantisfinancialservices seeks a Quality Function Manager for Electrical Architecture, Diagnostic Strategy and Functional Safety to lead E/E quality performance across vehicle architecture from concept to launch and field monitoring.

You will consolidate quality activities with Engineering teams, review architecture and safety options, and translate field feedback into improved standards, processes, and risk mitigation. Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 8+ years of engineering experience in automotive E/E.
  • Strong background in electrical architecture, diagnostics, and functional safety.
  • Solid understanding of E/E architecture development, diagnostic strategy, embedded systems, network communication, and vehicle integration constraints.
  • Knowledge of quality methods and deliverables (DFMEA, System FMEA, DVP&R, APQP).
  • Familiarity with safety principles, safety requirements, failure modes and verification evidence.
  • Ability to verify design integrity, process adherence, and cross-functional action closure.
  • Experience collaborating with Systems Engineering, Software, Hardware, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality, and Service teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead proactive analysis of customer claims, warranty data, diagnostic reports, and field feedback to identify architectural and system-risk patterns.
  • Ensure design integrity for electrical architecture, diagnostic strategy, and functional safety by applying standards and quality checkpoints.
  • Review architecture, diagnostic, and safety alternatives with engineering teams and support selection of robust solutions.
  • Verify DFMEA, System FMEA, design reviews, diagnostic specs, validation evidence, and safety work products.
  • Release structured quality reports at project milestones with risk assessment and recovery plans.
  • Drive root-cause analysis across architecture, software, hardware, networking, diagnostics, and safety processes.
  • Define and assess diagnostic strategy effectiveness including DTC definitions and fault thresholds.
  • Support functional safety governance by verifying safety requirements, traceability, and verification evidence.
  • Manage risks, deviations, and open quality points with clear recovery plans and ownership.
  • Capitalize lessons learned into architecture standards and quality gates.
  • Support launch readiness by reviewing maturity, integration, and field-monitoring strategy.
  • Lead technical reviews with Systems Engineering, Diagnostics, Software, Hardware, and Manufacturing teams.
