Job summary

Hormel Foods in Austin, MN is hiring a Food Safety and Quality Associate/Supervisor to support meat and facility operations. This entry-level, full-time role trains and leads 4-6 quality auditors while ensuring product quality and compliance with safety standards.

You will work hands-on in the production area, develop skills in SPC, TQC, HACCP, and have access to a comprehensive benefits package including relocation support and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree by Dec 2026 or May 2027 with a minimum 2.7 GPA (3.0 preferred).
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be open to relocation.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct and train employees to achieve quality standards.
• Manage product quality.
• Oversees sanitation procedures and food safety.
• Consults with management on quality and food safety in the manufacturing facility.
• Hands-on; production area about 60% of the shift.
