Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree is required. HACCP and PCQI certifications are also required.
• Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree in a science field is preferred.
• Preferred Experience: Three or more years in a food manufacturing and USDA environment. Leadership and auditing experience are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure products meet internal, USDA, and customer standards.
• Develop and improve quality and food safety standards, processes, and procedures.
• Oversee supervisors and staff, ensuring adherence to QA programs.
• Manage non-conforming product cycles, review root causes, implement preventive actions.
• Identify and record quality-related problems, initiate corrective actions.
• Update departmental documentation to reflect best practices.
