Job summary

Monogram Foods, located in Bristol, IN, is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee the daily production line, assign tasks, and train staff to meet quality and yield targets.

The successful candidate will manage day-to-day operations in a food manufacturing environment, ensuring machines run smoothly and materials are available to meet production schedules, with a strong focus on leadership and quality control.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment highly preferred.
• Must possess excellent written/verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Must be able to work 10-hour shifts, 5 days per week; Saturdays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day production to ensure performance and quality standards are achieved.
• Create daily work schedules to ensure that lines are sufficiently manned.
• Lead a team to produce high-quality items at a pace that meets labor-set and yield-set standards.
• Oversee employee performance, providing guidance and support and identifying development needs.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure on-time and smooth start-up.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate the materials required to accomplish the daily schedule.
• Maintain and improve production processes.
• Perform analysis to ensure compliance with customer specifications while maintaining the AOP.
• Ensure that checks and documentation are completed, performing regular quality and safety audits.
• Liaise with maintenance to ensure machines are kept running at an optimum level.
• Manage day-to-day issues that arise.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
