Job summary

Monogram Foods in Haverhill, MA is seeking an Entry Level Supervisor to oversee employees and QA activities to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency in production according to SQF, HACCP, QMS, SOP, and GMP standards.

You will train staff, monitor non-conformities, lead daily plant walks, and verify pre-operation inspections while maintaining accurate QA records. A strong English communication ability and Serve Safe certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 6 months of quality or related experience preferred.
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
• Knowledgeable about safety procedures as outlined by Monogram Foods.
• Familiarity with HACCP, GMP and quality control procedures.
• You must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Serve Safe Certified.
• Demonstrate energy, initiative and organizational skills.
• Flexible hours and willingness to take on extra duties.

Responsibilities

• Supervises personnel to ensure adherence to SQF, HACCP, QMS, SOP, GMP and micro lab procedures.
• Documents, trains, and monitors employees' application of training.
• Ensure follow-up on non-conformities.
• Participate in daily plant walk-throughs.
• Review and sign off on pre-operation inspections and sanitation checks.
• Review pallet tickets and file QA documentation on production lines.
• Review employee paperwork for accuracy.
• Perform regular quality checks on mixing procedures, temperatures, and related processes.
• Coordinate with Purchasing to resolve ingredient discrepancies.
• Prepare non-conformance documentation and recommend disposal/repair.
• Conduct HACCP pre-shipment inspections and assist with customer complaints.
