At Danone, manufacturing high-quality products and meeting demand are key priorities for our plant teams.

We are seeking a Quality and Food Safety Compliance Supervisor based in our City of Industry, California beverage manufacturing facility. The role involves managing and coordinating regulatory and quality compliance activities, including FSSC22000, FSMA, QMS, Non-GMO, Organic, and Kosher programs. You will assist the Quality and Food Safety Director and facilitate compliance activities.

Scope of Role

The QFS Compliance Supervisor will oversee compliance at the manufacturing facility and warehouses, managing a team of 3-4 and reporting directly to the QFS Director.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality and regulatory compliance, coordinate audits, and follow up on CAPAs.
• Manage systems related to FSSC certification and compliance programs like Non-GMO, Gluten-Free, Organic, Kosher.
• Lead the Food Safety Team, develop and verify Quality Systems, and ensure proper documentation of HACCP/FSHCP, FSMA, GMP activities.
• Oversee complaint, pest control, and traceability programs.
• Maintain calibration and proper functioning of equipment, and ensure records compliance.
• Lead or support root cause investigations and quality initiatives.
• Develop and deliver training, support specification management, supervise the team, and stay current with regulations.
• Promote safety practices and perform other duties as assigned.

The compensation range is $90,000 - $105,000 annually, with bonuses and benefits including health coverage, 401k, wellness programs, and more.

About You

• Bachelor's degree in food science or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in food or ingredients manufacturing.
• Knowledge of FSMA, Food Safety, and Quality Management Systems.
• Experience leading audits preferred.
• Certifications: PCQI, HACCP, SQF Practitioner or FSSC22000 preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, lab equipment, and familiarity with Quality Software and LIMS is a plus.
• Ability to travel and support a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
