Job summary

Southern Champion Tray in Chattanooga seeks a Quality and Continuous Improvement Manager to lead quality systems, food safety compliance, and process improvements across locations. You will influence culture, drive audit readiness, and collaborate with sales and operations to uphold standards.

The role requires Lean Six Sigma expertise, root cause analysis, and a track record of deploying corrective actions and training teams in quality best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in manufacturing/operations with quality focus.
• Experience with GMP, food safety or packaging quality standards.
• Green Belt or higher in Six Sigma; Lean experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain Quality System for Chattanooga operations.
• Develop, deploy and audit QT processes to meet customer specs.
• Investigate non-conformities and implement corrective actions.
• Drive root cause analysis and rapid response to quality issues.
• Lead continuous improvement and 5S initiatives across plants.
• Coordinate supplier, subcontractor, and customer audits.
• Coach operators and plant teams on quality, safety and compliance.
