Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a qualified Quality Specialist to coordinate, document, and report quality control activities on transportation projects in the Southeast District. You will witness inspections, develop work packs, and ensure compliance with contract documents and standards in a field or shop setting.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in a related field, 0–2 years of experience, and a proactive safety mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 0–2 years of experience.
• Familiarity with construction-related quality control procedures preferred.
• Certifications such as ASQ, CQM, CQA, or CWI are a plus.
• Willingness to travel and relocate as needed.
• Strong communication, integrity, and safety mindset.
• Working knowledge of trades and inspection/testing techniques preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inspections and tests to align with project schedules and production goals.
• Witness and perform quality control inspections and tests as directed.
• Document and report quality assurance activities and results.
• Review and approve inspection/test results for contract compliance with codes and standards.
• Communicate test results to the project team with complete documentation.
