Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Quality Specialist for field or shop-based work in the Southeast District with entry-level opportunity. You will coordinate, document, and report quality control and QA activities, witness inspections, and provide required documentation for assigned areas on a project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Welding Technology, or a related field with 0–2 years of experience.
• Familiarity with construction-related quality control procedures.
• Certifications such as ASQ, CQM, CQA, or CWI are a plus.
• Working knowledge of trades, disciplines, and inspection/testing techniques.
• Demonstrated integrity and ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inspections and tests to align with project schedules and production goals.
• Witness and perform quality control inspections and tests and document results.
• Coordinate, document, and report quality control and assurance activities.
• Review work packs for readiness prior to pre-activity meetings and construction execution.
• Monitor and forecast costs for third-party inspection and testing services; report trends.
• Communicate test results to the project team with complete documentation.
