Job summary

Kiewit is seeking an entry-level Quality Specialist to coordinate quality control activities on field or shop projects. You will document inspections, participate in testing, and ensure documentation supports contract requirements.

This role is located in the Southeast District and requires willingness to relocate as projects arise. Responsibilities include coordinating inspections, reviewing test results, and maintaining QA records while collaborating with operations to meet schedules and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Welding Technology, or a related field.
• Willingness to travel and relocate as needed.
• Familiarity with construction-related quality control procedures preferred.
• Certifications such as ASQ, CQM, CQA, or CWI are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Understand project scope, quality requirements, and applicable quality plans.
• Coordinate inspections and tests to align with project schedules and production goals.
• Address client concerns and maintain transparent communication regarding quality.
• Collaborate with operations to develop work packs, identifying required inspections, tests, and documentation.
• Review work packs for readiness prior to pre-activity meetings and construction execution.
