ABB seeks a Quality & Operational Excellence professional to support deployment of quality strategy in a local unit in Houston. You will help create a strong quality culture, drive prevention, and ensure sustainable operations across functions affecting quality results. The role emphasizes data analytics, risk identification, and effective corrective actions, with onsite/hybrid work options in Houston.

Qualifications

• BA or BS degree in Business or Engineering (STEM preferred).
• 3–5 years of quality management or project management experience.
• 5+ years of quality management and control experience in manufacturing or similar field.
• Prior operational excellence (OpeX) and operations/business process management experience.
• Prior experience in distribution, manufacturing, or energy industry.

Responsibilities

• Support deployment of the quality strategy for a local organizational unit.
• Assist in identifying and addressing risks and opportunities related to quality management.
• Use quality data analytics to identify risks, failures, and non-conformances.
• Facilitate resolution of customer cases by root cause analysis and preventive actions.
