Job summary

Eaton Corporation in Waukesha, WI is seeking a Quality Engineer Supervisor to lead quality initiatives for the assigned department. You will develop action plans to reduce scrap, warranty, and defects while supporting production with data-driven failure analysis and improvements.

You willDirect cross functional teams in problem solving, manage APQP and PFMEA activities, and work with Design Engineering and Supply Chain to ensure clear quality criteria for new and existing parts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering Field from an accredited institution required
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Relocation benefits are being offered for this position; candidates within 50 miles of Waukesha, WI considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates exempt from area limitation.

Responsibilities

• Direct cross functional teams in problem solving and issue analysis to address customer or production issues.
• Coordinate support of production with problem solving, process improvements and resolution to manufacturability issues.
• Maintain ISO 9001 quality system and support Eaton’s Quality Management System procedures.
• Identify gaps at Department/Plant level and drive improvement activities as SME.
• Coordinate customer return analysis and ensure timely response to customers.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering and Supply Chain to ensure quality criteria on parts and supplier communication.
• Lead PFMEA risk assessments on new products and changes.
• Support NPD Launch milestones for product quality and zero defects.
• Manage APQP and Part Approval processes for suppliers and customers.
