Job summary

BLOX is seeking a Director of Quality Engineering to lead quality strategy across design, manufacturing, supply chain, field, and warranty. The role emphasizes building quality into products and processes, reducing defects, and driving permanent corrective action.

The successful candidate will establish quality standards and metrics, develop the capability of the Quality Engineering team, and collaborate across functions to ensure reliable, scalable, and repeatable manufacturing and field

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Significant experience in quality engineering, manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, product engineering, or a similar technical discipline.
• Strong knowledge of root-cause analysis, corrective action, PFMEA, control plans, process capability, and risk-based quality planning.
• Strong analytical, data interpretation, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality engineering strategy across design, manufacturing, supply chain, field, and warranty.
• Identify systemic issues using data and structured problem-solving methods.
• Build cross-functional partnerships with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Program Management, and Field Operations.
• Establish disciplined root-cause and corrective-action processes that eliminate the source of problems and verify actions are effective.
• Monitor key quality metrics and support Lean and continuous improvement efforts.
