Job summary

BLOX in Birmingham, AL seeks a Director of Manufacturing Launch to own factory setup from design to ramp. You will lead line setup, standard work, tooling, takt, and training while collaborating with design, manufacturing, and program management to resolve manufacturability in real time.

You will build and mentor the manufacturing launch team, documenting baseline processes, transferring roles, and ensuring repeatable launches across future products. Travel is occasional.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing expert with layout, flow, takt, tooling, line-side setup.
• Ability to build and optimize production lines, not just improve existing ones.
• Proven capability to document methods and prove them before scaling.
• Systems thinker who connects design, manufacturing, supply chain, quality and field installation.

Responsibilities

• Own manufacturing launch from design through ramp to stabilization.
• Lead and mentor the manufacturing launch team; resolve manufacturability issues in design phase.
• Document baseline processes, train operations, transfer the role, and repeat for future launches.
