Job summary

Vanquis is modernising its technology landscape and seeks a Test Manager to lead the quality engineering practice across Salesforce, MuleSoft integrations and enterprise data flows.

You will own test strategy, governance and automation, while coaching Test Leads and Engineers. The role emphasizes risk-based decision making and collaboration with product, engineering and risk teams in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Substantial quality engineering and test management experience across complex, integrated enterprise delivery.
• Proven people leadership, including coaching, development, performance management and workforce planning.
• Expertise in risk-based test strategy, planning, estimation, governance, defect management and release-readiness support.
• Strong Salesforce, MuleSoft, API, integration and data-testing experience, with automated regression via CI/CD.
• Advanced experience of Copado Robotic Testing or equivalent modern test-automation tooling.
• Confident senior-stakeholder communication, translating technical evidence into business impact and decisions.
• Awareness of regulated environments, UK GDPR, secure data handling and ITIL/ITSM change controls.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the Quality Engineering strategy, standards, controls, quality gates and metrics.
• Lead portfolio-level planning across test demand, resources, environments, data and dependencies.
• Set the automation roadmap for Copado Robotic Testing, API testing, integration and data assurance.
• Provide evidence-based recommendations through governance, release-readiness and risk forums.
• Partner across product, engineering, architecture, delivery, operations, risk and business teams.
• Line manage, coach and develop Test Leads and Test Engineers.
