Job summary

AAON, Inc. is seeking a Quality Engineer to drive QMS compliance and implement improvements. The role involves analyzing performance data, leading root cause actions, and ensuring parts meet engineering and customer specs.

Responsibilities include updating quality systems, coordinating with Engineering, Sales, Warranty, and Field Service to resolve issues, and reporting KPIs to leadership. Crossing departments, it emphasizes a strong quality culture and occasional supervision of QA staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Business Admin, Supply Chain, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, Industrial Eng or related field.
• ASQ CQE Certification, ISO, Lean, SPC, Auditing experience preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and updates Quality Manual with QA leadership.
• Participates in strategic planning, monthly quality reporting, and customer meetings.
• Develops quality control systems to meet specs and performance requirements.
• Uses data analysis to identify root causes and drive corrective actions.
• Proposes improvements and leads implementation of changes.
• Creates and monitors quality standards and metrics.
• Collaborates with Engineering, Sales, Warranty, and Field Service to resolve issues.
