Job summary

AAON, Inc. in Redmond, Oregon seeks a Quality Engineer to drive QMS compliance and lead improvement opportunities. You will monitor and analyze quality data from multiple sources to enact root-cause and corrective actions, ensuring products meet engineering specs and customer requirements.

The role involves collaboration with Engineering, Sales, Warranty, and Field Service, development of quality metrics, and oversight of QA activities. Some travel to manufacturing facilities may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• ASQ CQE or ISO/auditing experience preferred
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain Quality Manual with annual updates
• Participate in strategic planning and monthly quality reporting
• Develop quality control systems meeting specs and performance
• Use statistical/root-cause analysis for failures
• Propose improvements and assist in changes implementation
• Create/develop quality standards and metrics
• Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, Warranty, and Field Service to resolve issues
• Plan/analyze/report quality issues and KPIs
• Ensure follow-up on improvements and actions
• Coordinate with suppliers/partners to meet specs
• Supervise workflow, schedules, and coaching of subordinates
