Quality Engineering Intern — Hands-On & Mentorship

Job summary

The Quality Engineering intern will work with the Corporate Quality Team by supporting key projects. The Intern will assist with the evaluation of product design and performance including hands-on installation and testing.

The intern will assist with the process for approving new products and product changes, which we call PPAP. The intern will be a high energy, assertive self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving tools.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering disciplines (General, Industrial/Systems, Mechanical, Chemical) or Physics or Business.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings/ GD&T.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Quality Product Approval process (PPAP).
• Review and analyze data related to product performance and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct and support product design validation testing.
• Support product measurement systems, such as CMM.
• Develop Quality Management system documents and procedures.
• Develop Standard Operating Procedures.
• Develop Audit plans.
