Job summary

RENK America invites a Quality Student Intern to join a cross-functional team in Muskegon, MI. You will help ensure product quality and customer satisfaction by collecting and analyzing data for machining, assembly, and test operations, and by guiding improvement actions.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited engineering/technical program with junior or senior status and minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) or equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to operate in a manufacturing environment.
• Willingness and ability to move freely throughout manufacturing spaces.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, and Product Engineering to identify root causes of non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in meeting quality, cost, and delivery metrics through cross-functional teamwork.
• Prepare and distribute reports on Quality Metrics.
• Assist in developing QA work instructions, check sheets, and inspection records; provide approvals.
• Create performance charts for quality indicators and coordinate continuous improvement efforts.
• Support metrology activities including risk assessments.
