Job summary

MKS Instruments is seeking an SQE Intern to partner with Supplier Quality representatives to improve process and data analytics related to supplier quality performance. The role reports to the Director of Supplier Performance or delegate.

This 12-week summer internship includes onboarding, meaningful projects, and networking with peers and executives. You'll gain hands-on experience with Power BI or Spotfire, ERP familiarity (Oracle or SAP), and exposure to manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master’s program for Industrial Engineering/Operations Management/Supply Chain with an expected graduation date between December 2027-May 2028.
Project management skills demonstrated through coursework or prior experience.
Practical experience in data analytics software (Power BI, Spotfire, etc.).
Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle or SAP) is a plus.
Qualified candidates must be US persons.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with relevant SQE to develop reporting and processes for supplier quality activities.
Assist assigned SQE to drive improvement with applicable suppliers.
Assist the Supplier Quality & Purchasing in managing supplier non-conformities and drive resolution.
Monitor and publish key supplier quality metrics to improve visibility.
