Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an Intern, Quality Engineering in Tulsa, OK. You will support quality initiatives across operations, review performance, and assist with corrective actions. This role offers exposure to nonconformance investigations, customer communications, and quality documentation.

Applicants should be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering or quality-related fields, or have graduated within the last year. Preferred: Lean Six Sigma Yellow/Green Belt.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in one of the listed engineering or related fields or have completed within the last 12 months.
• Lean Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality processes and procedures using statistical quality control statistics and analyses.
• Collaborate with internal Operations, Engineering, and Program Management and external customers to ensure quality standards are followed.
• Determine root cause for nonconforming products or materials and implement corrective actions.
• Write inspection procedures and assist in reviewing in-process rejections and product dispositions.
• Analyze quality performance for factory and help develop improvement plans with Operations Engineers.
• Serve as primary customer quality interface, possibly conducting customer briefings.
