Summary
The Quality Intern supports activities concerned with development, application, and maintenance of the quality operation system (QOS) for manufacturing processes, materials, and products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support and actively participate in the APQP process for new product launch.
- Support all ISO/IATF guidelines.
- Maintain operator work instructions.
- Helps initiates standards, including revising check sheets and inspection.
- Track and analyze daily scrap.
- Participates in problem solving activities and continuous improvement efforts as it relates to customer satisfaction and quality improvement.
- Track and report quality performance.
- Ability to conduct audits.
Qualifications
- Pursuing and Associate or Bachelor’s degree from college or university in Engineering or a related field.
- Effective oral communication skills (able to communicate clearly with customer, co-workers and suppliers)
- Previous experience in creating or the ability to create procedure documents.
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
