Job summary

P3 Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH seeks a Consultant (m/f/d) in Quality Engineering to lead quality initiatives and manage critical challenges across automotive projects. You will partner with suppliers, drive rapid crisis solutions, and guide early design and development stages to prevent defects.

Fluent English is required; German and Spanish are a plus. The role involves extensive travel and a strong focus on QMS, audits, and continuous improvement within dynamic client environments.

Qualifications

• You have a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in engineering or a comparable field.
• You bring 3+ years of experience in the automotive industry; EV-sector experience is a plus.
• You are passionate about Quality Improvement and skilled in implementing robust processes.
• You thrive in Crisis Management situations and deliver rapid solutions.
• You have strong problem-solving skills and root cause analysis experience.
• You are proficient with QMS, testing methodologies, and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality improvement initiatives and manage critical challenges to keep production and performance on track.
• Act as a trusted partner to suppliers, identifying improvement areas and driving Quality Improvement initiatives.
• Take ownership in Crisis Management situations, implementing rapid solutions to restore quality and delivery.
• Lead design and development phase efforts to prevent defects and ensure robust quality.
• Provide expert guidance to enhance processes and stabilize manufacturing operations.
• Drive continuous improvement programs focusing on quality, cost, delivery, and sustainability.
• Assess supplier capabilities, quality systems, and compliance standards.
• Conduct audits in line with IATF, VDA, and ISO requirements.
• Communicate and collaborate with clients, presenting solutions and progress updates confidently.
