Job summary

Schaeffler is seeking a Quality Management Professional to lead automotive quality projects, ensuring PPAP and APQP compliance while driving process improvements. You will guide cross-functional teams and coordinate with plant, customer, and supplier quality stakeholders to uphold high standards.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in engineering and 5+ years in automotive quality, plus strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality in automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of full-cycle automotive quality processes.
• Experience with APQP/PPAP launch activities.
• Six Sigma Green Belt required; Black Belt preferred.
• Proficient with Minitab, SAP, MS Office, and CAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update guidelines, methods and processes for proper application.
• Lead quality topics within project as Quality Sub-project Manager and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Lead launch activities to meet PPAP requirements.
• Lead inspections and audits and document results.
• Maintain documentation for certifications and external QM reporting.
• Advise staff and management on QM topics and provide training.
• Coordinate with customers on quality requirements and fulfillment.
• Estimate investments to meet quality requirements and develop QA strategies.
