Job summary

Entegris is seeking a Material Quality Engineering Co-Op for our Billerica, MA site for the Spring 2027 season. The 6-month assignment supports the production of liquid filtration products for the semiconductor industry.

The role involves supplier quality data analysis, root cause investigations, and implementing corrective actions with suppliers and internally. You will engage in quality documentation, MOC tracking, audit prep, and supplier scorecard maintenance.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled as a student in an engineering or chemistry program.
• Graduating in 2027 or 2028 and available for a 6-month co-op.
• Must meet university co-op requirements and be able to work 40 hours/week, Mon-Fri.

Responsibilities

• Supplier quality data analysis and trending.

Job Title: Material Quality Engineering Co-Op

The Role:

Our site in Billerica, MA is seeking a Material Quality Engineering Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2027 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration. The co-op will assist the Material Quality Engineering team to support production of liquid filtration products for the semiconductor industry.

What You’ll Do:

• Supplier quality data analysis and trending
• Raw material root cause investigations
• Implement corrective actions for quality issues both internally and at suppliers
• Clear and concise technical communication with suppliers
• Quality documentation and specification review
• MOC tracking and administrative support
• Audit preparation and follow-up actions
• Supplier scorecard maintenance
• Drawing and specification validation projects
• Continuous improvement initiatives focused on defect reduction and supplier performance

What We Seek:

• Minimum 3 years of post-high school education
• Day shift generally 8am-5pm Monday through Friday
• Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year: Engineering (Chemical, Material, Mechanical preferably), Chemistry, or similar Graduation in 2027 or 2028

Eligibility:

• Must be a currently enrolled student
• Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June
• Must be familiar with the university’s requirements to participate in a co-op program
• Entegris is not currently hiring candidates for co-ops/internships who will need, now or at any time in the future, Entegris sponsorship through the H1-B lottery.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
