Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Quality Engineer in its Supply Chain to lead loss-elimination initiatives using Walmart Performance System (WPS) tools. You’ll work with distribution center leaders to reduce variation, build standard work, and deliver measurable KPI gains.

We expect experience with RCA, 5S, Six Sigma, and time/motion studies, plus the ability to translate KPI insights into action and sustainment. This full-time role offers strong benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in Quality or Process Improvement.
• Experience applying RCA, 5S, Six Sigma, and time/motion studies in operations.
• Ability to analyze KPIs, build loss profiles, and translate insights into actions.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality loss elimination using WPS tools (5S, RCA, Six Sigma, time/motion studies).
• Build quality loss profiles, KPI reporting, and gap analyses to guide improvement work.
• Manage execution of top quality-loss projects and identify replication opportunities.
• Create and improve standard work to reduce process variation and prevent deviations.
• Partner with DC leaders to support WPS programs, engagement, and KPI improvements.
