Job summary

The Judge Group, INC. is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to ensure materials, components, and outsourced processes meet high quality standards. You will collaborate with Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Production while working directly with suppliers to drive performance improvements and resolve issues.

Travel up to 25% to supplier sites; experience with ISO 9001 and 8D problem solving preferred; Bachelor's in Engineering preferred; experience in industrial manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred but will consider additional experience in lieu of
• 3+ years of experience in Quality Engineering in industrial manufacturing.
• Solid experience with supplier quality is required.
• Root Cause analysis / 8D Problem solving is required
• Experience with internal audits.
• Advanced Excel is preferred
• Need experience with Supplier Correction Action plans.
• Familiar with ISO 9001
• Continuous Improvement experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and continuously improve the supplier quality program.
• Monitor and analyze supplier performance metrics.
• Maintain and support the company preferred supplier list.
• Issue, track, and manage Supplier Corrective Action.
• Lead supplier investigations and root cause analysis for nonconforming materials.
• Review and approve supplier corrective and preventive action plans.
• Verify the effectiveness of implemented corrective actions.
• Support and enhance incoming inspection processes.
• Conduct internal audits.
• Travel is up to 25% to visit supplier sites.
