Job summary

Millennium Print Group, a subsidiary of The Pokémon Company International, is seeking a Quality Engineer in Durham, NC. The role focuses on developing QC plans, analyzing processes with SPC and quality metrics, and leading CAPA efforts to ensure high-quality trading card products.

Ideal candidates hold a engineering-related degree with 3–4 years in quality or manufacturing quality; proficiency in Excel/Power BI/Minitab is desired, and Six Sigma CQE or belt is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Typically 3–4 years of experience in quality engineering or manufacturing quality.
• Experience in printing, packaging, or high-volume manufacturing preferred.
• Knowledge of SPC, FMEA, Control Plans, CAPA, Gauge R&R, and Root Cause Analysis.
• Proficiency with Excel, Power BI, Minitab, and other quality analysis software.
• Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt or CQE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain quality control plans for printing, finishing, and packaging operations.
• Analyze manufacturing processes using SPC, statistical methods, and quality metrics to improve performance.
• Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI), process capability studies, and quality validations.
• Support internal, customer, and third‑party audits while ensuring compliance with ISO and quality management systems.
• Monitor scrap, rework, yield, and production quality metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
• Partner with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to improve manufacturing processes.
• Support new product launches, equipment validations, and capital improvement projects.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
