POWERTEC is seeking a Quality Engineer in Charlotte, NC to lead quality systems, supplier development, and manufacturing quality improvements. You will drive CAPA, PPAP processes, and customer issue resolution while championing safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.

The role partners with manufacturing, suppliers, and customers to reduce defects, improve process capability, and maintain the effectiveness of the Quality Management System.

Qualificações

• Minimum 3 years in a quality engineering or manufacturing quality role.
• Experience with Quality Management Systems and ISO 9001.
• Experience with PFMEA, FAIR, root cause analysis, corrective/preventive actions, Lean and Six Sigma.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality processes, procedures, specs, work instructions, and inspection criteria.
• Monitor quality performance metrics (cost of quality, scrap, rework, nonconformances, CAPA).
• Lead or support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
• Partner with manufacturing to identify process inefficiencies and improve quality.
• Review specifications, drawings, and customer requirements to ensure quality is met.
• Drive supplier quality improvements through reviews and corrective actions.
• Support audits and maintain compliance with ISO and customer requirements.
