Job summary

Pave Talent is recruiting on behalf of a global specialty materials manufacturer serving electronics. This on-site role focuses on quality engineering at a new site, ensuring material batches meet specifications and driving process improvements.

You will perform data-driven quality reviews, investigate discrepancies, support CAPA and 8D actions, and help implement SOPs, COAs, and LIMS updates as the site scales with ISO 9001/IATF readiness on the horizon.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or materials science required.
• 2–5 years of hands-on quality engineering in manufacturing; startup/site experience preferred.
• Data analysis skills with Minitab, JMP or similar statistical tools a must.
• Experience with LIMS or ERP systems such as SAP or JD Edwards advantageous.
• Exposure to ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 and SPC beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Daily quality data review and root cause analysis on discrepancies.
• Incoming raw material analysis and trend monitoring to prevent out-of-spec results.
• Lead CAPA and 8D problem solving linked to FMEAs.
• Develop and update SOPs and work instructions.
• Manage process change notifications through to closure, including customer communication.
• Update COAs and specifications in the LIMS; support calibration and audits prep.
