Job summary

LVT seeks a hands-on Quality Engineer to uphold ISO 9001 standards on the active manufacturing floor. You will analyze defects, participate in NPI, and collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering and Hardware Design teams to ensure smooth quality handoffs.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in manufacturing, experience with automated test equipment, and a solid foundation in SPC and Six Sigma. On-site role offering comprehensive benefits and growth potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, or Automation Engineering (or equivalent).
• 2–5 years of professional manufacturing experience with automated test equipment and quality systems.
• Practical experience with SPC, Six Sigma, and standard problem-solving techniques.
• Working knowledge of CAD software for fixture review/design (SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Exposure to automation tools or scripting (e.g., PLC, Python).
• Strong understanding of electrical circuits, wiring harnesses, and diagnostic tools.
• Solid knowledge of ISO 9001 frameworks and QMS.

Responsibilities

• Investigate & Resolve Quality Issues using 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone methods.
• Support test automation and fixtures with basic scripting.
• Maintain PFMEA and testing protocols across lines.
• Analyze production data to generate actionable reports.
• Optimize line efficiency and first-pass yield while ensuring safety and quality.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and customer specs.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering and Hardware Design on NPI and handoffs.
