Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Quality Engineer to be the quality focal for the team, driving cost of quality improvements and supporting delivery, inventory control and cost-out initiatives. The role emphasizes problem solving around yield, defects, and continuous improvement using structured methodologies.

The candidate should bring a solid manufacturing background with proven quality control experience and the ability to collaborate across functions to sustain program success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree accredited college or university (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of manufacturing experience).
• Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Verify conformance to specification by measuring and testing during in-house manufacturing; perform incoming goods control and inspections for supplier items.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and execute policy/strategy with applicable guidance.
• Collaborate across teams to understand business drivers and integrate quality efforts with broader activities.
