Job summary

Materion is seeking a Quality Engineer to join the Westford, MA team. This role strengthens the Quality Management System and manufacturing quality functions, supporting ISO compliance, continuous improvement, and customer requirements.

You will partner with Operations, Engineering, Program Management, and Sales to ensure processes and products meet internal, regulatory, and customer standards. The position requires 5+ years in manufacturing, strong QMS knowledge, and experience with Lean Six

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality, or related technical field.
• Minimum 5+ years in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of ISO9001/AS9100 QMS with internal audits experience.
• Lean, Six Sigma or formal CI methodologies experience/certification preferred.
• Familiar with APQP, FMEAs, SPC, GD&T and structured problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the QMS for ISO9001/AS9100 compliance.
• Lead Lean Six Sigma projects and drive process improvements.
• Support root cause analysis, corrective actions, and data trends.
• Collaborate with Ops, Engineering, and Sales on customer specs.
