Job summary

HireArt is hiring a Manufacturing Quality Engineer for a full-time, on-site contract in Hayward, CA. You will implement inline and End-of-Line quality checks, drive root cause resolution, and support compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 9000.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 6+ years in quality or manufacturing engineering, with experience in FMEAs, APQP, and control plans, plus strong data analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in manufacturing, electrical, mechanical, industrial or related field.
• 6+ years in quality or manufacturing engineering.
• Experience developing FMEAs and control plans.
• Experience with APQP.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate inline and End-of-Line quality checks.
• Conduct root cause analysis and drive resolution of quality issues.
• Create and maintain PFMEAs and develop control plans.
• Analyze quality data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve supplier quality and design issues.
• Develop and improve quality policies and processes to align with IATF 16949 and ISO 9000.
