Job summary

Quality Engineer role is onsite in Princeton, Indiana. The professional will support the quality system, lead audits, and coordinate launch activities with customers, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement across supplier quality and internal processes.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in industrial quality, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to manage teams, travel for supplier reviews, and drive corrective actions within TS 16949 frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent industrial experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with SPC knowledge.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Experience with internal quality system audits and TS 16949 familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate new launch activity with the customer (PA, PPAP packets).
• Provide coordination of External Product Quality Compliance audits.
• Support, analysis, training and consultation on quality systems, auditing and quality awareness.
• Supervise Quality team members and team leaders as direct reports, developing all through problem solving and The EPIQ Way.
• Maintain and exhibit effective communications provide presentations.
• Ability to travel to review supplier processes/new equipment quality buyoff.
• Support QMS in regards to controls (i.e. corrective actions & activities).
• Work with suppliers to handle nonconforming material and coordinate returns.
• Serves as the Designated Document Control representative.
• May supervise the quality teams on each shift.
• Assist with continuous improvement efforts within the organization.
